Order of laying out positions
You may be wondering whether there is an order in which to lay out the positions on the floor. In principle, I am in favour of this, but it is not set in stone, that you first lay out the positions on the floor that will be constellated (these are the positions that someone will stand on to tune in or represent), and only then the energies that come with them and are not constellated, such as a theme, the inner child, ancestors or whatever.
I suggest this because otherwise you run the risk of, for example, taking your theme first, placing it in the middle, and draping the rest around it. But it is not certain that the theme will energetically occupy that position. If you have a theme in a constellation, it is quite possible that when you lay it down, your theme will end up somewhere in a corner.
You should place them recklessly. With a French touch. Indifferently. Randomly. Don't think about it. Don't throw them in the air either. You place them yourself. The energies that determine how the positions are placed flow through you. They have no grip in the air. The energies at work here need grip, and you are an excellent system to work through. The air is definitely not. And it seems random to us, but it is not. It is very precise.
