The maximum number of ancestors that can be represented per session is currently seven. I’m torn between six and seven. Once we get started, you’ll realise why it’s important for the actual constellation to be surrounded by silence. This requires a great deal of concentration. If there is time for more, then we can include them. However, establishing a good connection in which the ancestor is given the space they need is more important than the number of ancestors represented. I hope you agree with me on this. You may well find that an ancestor stays longer than you would wish or choose. The purpose of this ancestor constellation is not so much for you to gain a fascinating experience, but for your ancestral field to receive healing and for you to have greater access to help from within that field. The ancestors who appear are generally not the ones you’ll proudly tell your friends about. It’s often a tale of woe, and they tend to linger as well. I suggest you bring a bag full of compassion. These ancestors often need time to process things themselves. We’ll really try to bring seven ancestors forward. If I had to put a time on it, I’d say about twenty minutes in total per ancestor, including the breaks in between when you might be taking notes or whatever; I’ll need to be ready for the next one myself, too. With seven ancestors, that comes to 140 minutes. The stones still need to be laid, you’ll need to give your introduction, and the field might need to be tuned in to. Seven ancestors might already be too many. We’ll do a maximum of 2.5 hours – that’s 150 minutes. We’ve got a full programme.
