Olly's mission

Interview with Olly, 18 April 2026

Introduction

For this first interview at Gemma and Olly’s home in New Zealand, Olly has settled down between Gemma, who represents Olly, and the laptop, on which Mirjam and I appear. He is lying right between the three of us.

In this interview, we first asked Olly if he’d like to talk about a particular topic. He indicated that he’d like to talk about humanity, and went on to explain why. This has everything to do with his mission on Earth. People are no longer in touch with one another. Animals, however, have retained this connection amongst themselves and work together. People have lost this. As a result, contact with animals has also been disrupted. This phenomenon is occurring worldwide. His message concerns restoring contact between people and between people and animals. From there, a completely different society can be built, in which animals will play an important role. But that will take some time. Restoring contact is the most important thing for us to focus on at the moment, Olly explains.

In the interview, we also explore the relationship between the consciousness with which we are in contact during this conversation and the physical cat Olly that we see. We gain some insight into this, but it does not become entirely clear during this first conversation. The consciousness with which we are in contact is perfectly happy to be called Olly, but is not bound to the physical cat Olly, because even before the physical Olly existed, this consciousness was already engaged with this message. However, this consciousness is always focused on cats, on the cat connection. For this consciousness, which we call Olly, it feels as though it is together with all animals and together with all cats. That said, other animal groups and other cat groups have different roles to play in this; but ultimately, everything is always together as a whole.

Interview

Question: Could you let us know when you’re ready to reply?

Yes.

Question: Are we in touch with Olly?

Yes.

Question: Would you like to say something yourself, or shall we ask you some questions?

No, just go ahead and ask.

Question: Is there a specific topic you’d like to share information about at the moment?

I’d like to talk about humanity.

Question: How does humanity strike you at the moment?

Panicked. They’re very scared, and there’s absolutely no need for it. But everyone is scared and fleeing. And no one is looking around them. Very scared.

Question: To what extent can you tell whether you’re talking about humanity in your immediate surroundings, or do you have the sense that it’s New Zealand, or on a much broader scale?

No, the whole world. New Zealand isn’t too bad yet, but in other places, it’s worse.

Question: When you say ‘nobody is looking around’, can you explain that further?

It’s all panic, and everyone’s looking down. And they’re walking past each other and jostling one another, and there’s nobody who stops for a moment to look. In their panic, they’re all curling up into themselves.

Question: If I’ve understood your description correctly, nobody is in contact with anyone else anymore.

No, absolutely no contact. Such a shame.

Question: Yes, not with themselves and not with their surroundings.

No, not with one another. With themselves, yes, but that’s only with themselves, so not with one another. And not with the animals either; they don’t see them any more.

Question: I do see lots of people with pets, though. Do they have a connection with them?

They don’t understand that. The pets are there, but the people don’t get it. They don’t grasp the concept. They have a pet because it’s nice, but they don’t feel it. That deep connection – that’s not there yet. The animals are working very hard for this.

Question: Do they work hard to make that connection?

Yes, the animals try to make that connection. Just like me – that’s my job. But it’s hard work. And people don’t want it. But they don’t realise what they’re missing.

Question: Yes, they don’t feel at all that they’re missing anything. For them, the way they are right now is their normal state.

Yes, they think they have everything – computers, phones, everything, all the lovely things, everything brand new. But they’re missing it; they just don’t realise it. And yet they think they’re so important. And we’re here to preserve the Earth.

Question: How do you do that?

By working together. We work together. Then there’s a balance. If you’re on your own, that balance isn’t there.

Question: When you say you want people to make connections, how do you go about that? Because that seems very difficult to me. (Olly doesn’t take this question as it’s meant, and thinks the question suggests that making contact itself is something difficult. What was meant, however, was teaching people how to make contact.)

No, it’s so easy. Just being kind is so easy. Don’t overcomplicate things. Just be there for one another; you don’t have to do anything. Don’t do anything, just be.

Question: If we had that connection, if we were connected, would life look any different?

I don’t know. It’s never been like that for me. It is the intention, though. That’s what we’re working towards. I know that’s what we’re working towards. But I don’t see it myself because I’ve never experienced it.

This was long before my time that we had that. It used to be like that. We had a great deal of connection, but that was before I arrived. I wasn’t there then, so I didn’t experience it. But I hear it’s absolutely lovely. Everything flows smoothly and there’s so much harmony. Wonderful stories, truly wonderful.

Question: Do you hear those stories from other animals?

From other cats, because they were there. They saw it. They were close by. Thousands of years ago – that’s such a long time ago. But I wasn’t there then. I would have liked to have experienced that.

Question: So, roughly how long have you been here?

500 years? Yes, I am quite important. I’ve been here for a while. I’m bigger than you think.

Question: Can you tell us a bit more about that?

What’s there to say? I’m here. This is my job and I put a lot of effort into it. I’ve achieved a lot in that regard.

Question: Have you achieved a lot already?

Yes, but on a small scale. It’s not a big deal. I want it to be bigger.

Question: Do you mean Gemma?

Yes. But it goes further than that, and I need help with that. I can’t do it on my own. I need help to get my voice heard. Because I’m here with just one person, and that’s brilliant, but that’s only one person. You can’t change the world with just one person. We need more. We need more people to join in.

Question: Could it be important to you that we help you to get that voice –

Oh yes. That’s why we’re here. I was the one who made sure of that. You thought it was your idea.

Question: Absolutely, that’s so lovely to hear. We’d really love to help you with this. We’re so grateful to be able to do this.

I’m so glad you’re doing this. I’ve been trying to do this for so long – generations have tried – and nobody wanted to do it, or only on a small scale. Nobody wanted to take it on. I’m so grateful.

Question: Why didn’t anyone want to take it on?

It’s too much work. They think it isn’t necessary. They don’t see the problem. And then they’re afraid, and they think it won’t be noticed, so they don’t do it. But it is possible.

Question: So you’ve had this task for generations.

Yes. And I just can’t get there, because I’m not getting any help from you lot. I need people, and people need me.

Question: Did you choose Gemma to help with this –

Yes, and you lot, that goes hand in hand; you’re all in this together. But Gemma’s important because she’s coming to help me. She listens. That’s so important – listening. That’s where it all starts. Because if you listen, then you can talk afterwards and then you can come together. But if you don’t listen, you’ll get nowhere. Yes, I’m Olly and I’m important.

Question: So Olly, when you say ‘listening is so important’, is that the first task? Do you think that’s the first thing we should do, that people should –

Listen to me.

Question: Listen to you?

Listen to me first, because I’ve got so much to say. But you do have to ask. I need help with that.

Question: This message about making contact – you’ve been trying to reach people with this for a very long time.

Yes.

Question: Are you the only one now?

Oh no, there are so many of us, so many.

Question: Are you saying that there are, in fact, more animals trying to make contact with people in this way?

Yes. I mainly work with cats at the moment. But I’m sure there are other animals too. However, I see cats. I’m part of the cat world. That’s my world. As for what the horses know, you’ll have to ask the horses – they’re trying too, you know. But I don’t see any of that; I’m not familiar with it.

Question: Cats were sacred animals in ancient Egypt.

Yes, those Egyptians were clever. They realised that.

Question: Did they receive messages from cats?

Yes, every day. We were so important to them. We helped them. That’s why they once achieved fantastic things, thanks to the information that came from us. Yes, they knew how important we were. They knew that; they could see it.

Question: So does that mean you can pass on a lot of information too?

Yes, I’m a conduit. It’s easier to listen to me than to the higher realms. That’s tricky. It’s hard to hear if you’re not familiar with it. And I’m easier for you lot to hear. And I do hear the higher realms. But you do have to ask, otherwise I won’t hear it. You do have to ask, specifically.

Question: And otherwise you won’t hear it. We need to encourage that information to come through –

Yes.

Question: Are you connected to all cats, or more to a specific group of cats?

All cats, all cats. They’re all connected to one another. There’s no separation there; it’s all together. They’re all part of one, all part of Earth. It’s all together. There’s no separation. There’s no separation between different animals either. It’s all one. There’s my task; that’s a separate task within it. And then you do your task. You don’t need to interfere with other tasks. Don’t look around like that. Just: this is your task and you’re all in this together. But it’s someone else who does other things. I don’t need to do that. If I’m preoccupied with what the other person is doing, then I can’t do my task. It’s just like what you do: you’re busy, busy. No, this is your task; that’s what you need to be doing; that’s your life. Just leave other things alone. That’s important.

Question: So, if I’ve understood correctly, the cat world is important to you. That’s who you are. You’re describing the role you have. Is that role specific to you as a cat?

No, there are so many cats, loads of cats. This is so important. I can’t do it on my own. Other cats have other tasks, but a lot of them involve people. Older people are important too. They’ll be gone soon, but they do need help, otherwise they’ll be on their own. That’s not right; being on your own isn’t right.

Question: What do you mean by: older people are important and need help?

They’re on their own. Family leaves, and then you’re on your own. That’s not right. You need to be together. That’s when we’re there. If people don’t want to be there, then we’re there.

Question: Are you really there to fill that gap left by all those people who no longer have any contact, or hardly any contact at all?

Yes, someone has to do it. We enjoy doing that. We’re good at it. Other animals aren’t so good at that. We are. So that’s our job. That’s how it’s divided up. We’re good at that, so that’s what we do. Other animals are good at other things, so that’s what they do. These are all very specific tasks. Nothing is more important than anything else; it’s all important. You can do – and do – what you’re good at, and you do it very well. And this is what we do well. We’re good for people. Other animals are very good for the Earth; they do good things for the Earth. They aren’t there for people; they’re there for the Earth. We’re here for people.

Question: What’s striking is that people very often have cats or dogs. Do you share that task with dogs as well, or do dogs have a different role there –

No, different people need different things. Cat people need us, because they need us; they need to have people.[1] Dog people need energy; they’re quiet, so they need energy. Cat people don’t; they need peace and quiet; they need the connection. That’s a completely different task. So that’s a different type of person. It’s not the same. And it’s also a different lifestyle. You have cat people who later become dog people, and vice versa. That’s what they need at that point. But that’s something completely different[2]. We all have our own place.

Question: Is it correct to assume that you are very much aware not only of your task, but also of where you come from and everything you have done, because you say you have been working on this for a very long time?

Yes, with one task. It’s all the same[3]. The fact that you don’t live that long doesn’t matter. It’s simply one important task. And people come and go, but that’s my task and I’ll stay here until it’s done properly, until it’s finished. By then you’ll have long since gone, but I’ll still be here. I’ll see my task through.

Question: And can almost all the cats in the world on Earth do that?

Lots and lots. Some have different tasks; they’re not all the same. But there are lots of them here for the people, because that’s where help is needed. [4]

Question: Olly, shall we call you Olly?

Yes.

Question: Olly, this is new to us, and it’s new to you. Could you let us know when you’ve had enough for now?

Yes, that’ll be enough. It’s a lot for you all. It’s a lot to take in.

Question: I’ve got another question. See if it fits in today or not. Is there a way in which we, as a subtle-matter group, can personally contribute energy to the task the cats have, so that we can offer support in that?

Yes, tell a story. You need to tell a story. That’s why you’re here. To tell a story. And it starts very small. But tell a story. We need help with that. I’ve been trying to do this on my own for so long, but now I need help. And you’re listening. You can do that.

Question: You’ve been trying on your own for a long time and say: now you need help –

Yes, you’re listening. You’re listening. People don’t want to. It’s too much. They hear me but then they don’t listen. This is a huge task. I think you’re very important and very kind; you’re listening. That’s kind.

Question: We’re completely speechless.

Yes, me too. I’ve been waiting for this for so long, such a long time. There’s so much you don’t know yet. You’ll find out in time. There’s so much to tell.

Question: I don’t know if you can imagine it, but for us it’s quite a challenge to ask good questions.

Yes, that’ll come as you learn more. Bit by bit. You don’t need too much. Too much is too much, and then it doesn’t sink in. It has to be bit by bit.

Question: Olly, I’ve got a website and there you are –

Yes, that’s why we’re here.

Question: OK, we can share this on the website.

Yes, that’s important. Then we’ll get there. Then we’ll reach other people. Not many, not many people. But that’ll come. It takes time. It’ll come. It’s fine as it is. It’s important to do that. Just doing it is important. Just go ahead and do it.

Question: Thank you. We can say ‘see you next time’, can’t we, Olly?

Yes, I’ll be here. I’m not going anywhere.

[1] Here, Olly is essentially saying that these people for whom cats exist actually need human contact, but if that isn’t there, they make up for it.

[2] What cats have to offer and what dogs have to offer are two very different things.

[3] Olly explains here that he’s been working on the same task for his entire life of around 500 years.

[4] Here, the subject of the consciousness we’re conversing with and its relationship to the cat world comes up again. In fact, large groups of cats are there for people, but not all of them, Olly says here.
