The approach and methodology for the ancestor constellation involving representation have been revised. Fundamental changes have been made to virtually all web pages under the heading ‘Ancestor Constellations’. Only the web page ‘Why ancestors?’ remains unchanged, and under the heading ‘Adapted ritual ancestor constellations’ no changes have been made apart from to the files to which links are provided. The number of ancestors represented in a constellation has changed. Above all, however, changes have been made to the way in which interaction with ancestors is described. Whereas it was previously cautious, it is now more active and inquisitive. Those who choose  for an ancestor constellation involving representation are prepared for this differently by the texts; they are encouraged more to ask questions in order to learn more about their ancestors. This can be practised during the full rehearsal with three ancestors from a person’s own ancestral field. It does mean, however, that contact with an ancestor takes longer and that, as a result, fewer ancestors are represented. But the total number, including the rehearsal, still stands at ten ancestors. Incidentally, the important thing here is not only that you learn more, but that the ancestors themselves also have more opportunity to benefit from the constellation. For them, too, this setting is unique. Being heard and seen in their own lives can have a profound effect on them. This change in the interaction creates more space for the ancestors who appear.
